“Draft Downtown Core Area Plan”

The Times Colonist reports this morning on Victoria’s recently released “Draft Downtown Core Area Plan.” I won’t have the time for a couple of weeks to read and review it, but it is posted on Victoria’s website as a PDF. (The Times Colonist uses a service called Scribd to deliver PDFs to readers, which collects information about your reading habits and connects with Facebook to let people and advertisers know what you’re reading. I’m not comfortable with that, so I used the City’s website instead of signing up with Scribd. It doesn’t seem like good customer service on the part of the Times Colonist to require customers to give out personal information to download important documents from their website, since it reduces access to information.)
